STUDENTS in Teignbridge completed a sponsored swim to raise money for their local lifeboat station. Pupils from Orchard Manor School in Teignmouth recently presented volunteers from the town’s lifeboat station with a cheque for £800 after having completed a sponsored swim at Lady’s Mile Holiday Park in Dawlish.
THIEVES have helped themselves to donations made to Dawlish pet foodbank. Several boxes of food destined for pets in need in the town went missing from a donation drop off box intended to go to the charity Dawlish Pet Pantry.

A "first class" Devon postmaster is celebrating after reaching an incredible milestone. Roger Honey has officially been at the helm of Exeter Road Post Office in Dawlish for 50 years. But he has been involved in the branch for even longer than that since it was bought by his family in October 1962, with mum Eileen acting as postmaster for the first 12 years.
