And people voted for more government cuts.   For every 'happy ending' story like this there are many more that aren't.

Who cares if it's tat anyway, it's a caravan holiday!  If Pinder Fashions are investing and expanding, Teignbridge are earning rent and rates and the punters are buying more flip flps, that's win win win in my book.

I just got the letter today - the small print at the bottom shows it's from the Lib Dems not directly from Richard Weeks.   I wish him well but can't help thinking he's being used by them to get votes.

I was going to tactically vote LibDem but as small protest at the way Doc was treated I think I'll give my vote to Green.    Thanks dawlish.com, all the bollocks served a purpose.

Everything else goes up in price, why expect Council Tax be an exception?   Yes it's a stealth tax but that's because the council gets additional government funding if they freeze Council Tax.  It's all smoke and mirrors, the bottom line is if you want services you have to pay for them. On the subject of flytipping,  people who are inclined to do that sort of thing are not the kind of people ...

Not having PR was a way or avoiding coalition governements but that's exactly what we've had and are likely to get so maybe now is the time to seriously consider it.  It's never really bothered me before but the idea that the strings could be pulled by SNP/UKIP/PC is crazy.
