sorry @BEE9 , the way you were asking suggested that you had an urgent need to know. i didn't realise that you didn't really care.
@BEE9 . why do you need to know before the event?
As probably the only contributor to this forum who's going to be attending OBW, I've already said that I'd advise the forum about the catering outlets. I know of two Dawlish businesses that will definitely be there. And that's just two because I know them personally and they've told me. One of them also said that the vast majority of outlets will be from Teignbridge and Exeter.
LN, if you're going to moan about something rail-related, maybe you should moan about the normal service on a Sunday night along the Riviera Line from Exeter? You're unlikely to be aware, but on every normal Sunday you can't catch a train from Exeter to Starcross or Dawlish Warren after 9pm. That's surely more worthy of you getting hot under the collar over?
Thanks FB2. Happy to bring a smile to your face.
LN. What do you suggest? Give new houses away? I had to save up for every one of my houses over the years. It's all relative - yes house prices were lower back then, but so were wages. If the likes of Ken and his ilk had their way, then there'd be no new houses built for anyone at all. Full stop. Well, at least not near to where the NIMBYs live.
B. No, I mean it...
LN, I'm sure that they appreciate your concern. But, out of interest, why would it have concerned you had you not known anyone going? Anyway, as I've written on here before (and hence me posting on this topic manys a time), I'm going to be there and I'm going to enjoy every second of it! Life is for living, not for moaning.
LN. I don't how much the food and drink will cost. I'm not sure why that concerns you as you're not going, however what I do know is that plenty of local food outlets will be there. Making money for both themselves and for their staff. I'll let you know afterwards how their prices at OBW compare to their normal prices.
LN, I don't have a copy, but a friend in Kenton does. I'll see if they've still got it.
