It strikes me Devon and cornwall police are just lazy, they don't want the paperwork. My niece works for the Met and she is astounded at the lack o.f  arrests for various offences here. She said any pub in London that had a pub like the Landsdowne would have it's licence revoked or curtailed. I'm guessing none of the councilors who sit on the licensing committee live anywhere near the Lansdowne, and aren't affected by what goes on there.

Good to see the craft market busy. Shame about the mess as you go under the viaduct.

You all have the contact emails to report. Send your complaints in folks.

Perhaps that may explain why there were police out at 3am shining torches around obviously looking for someone towards the west side of Dawlish. Maybe if the Lansdowne had its opening hours significantly reduced i.e midnight closing,  if not closed altogether, then maybe just maybe, this could have an affect on the drugs issue mentioned on other posts.....just saying!!  Get the drug dogs in there ...

How do the Landsdowne get away with it. Last night, shouting screaming, foul language until 4am.
