I heard that there were looters at the house in Brook St. and that neighbours who tried to stop them were attacked. Anyone heard anymore?

I was told that because the walls are cob, someone put cement rendering over it, The cob couldn't breathe, and so when they chipped the rendering off it collapsed. Poor people, I feel for them.

I was told by someone who lives next door that there was definately someone living there. Apparantly an employee of the bakery.

I am not prepared to give details of my employment there. But to my knowledge at least 4 patients escaped from the secure Butler unit. 2 paedophiles one would be serial killer. One patient tried to hold up a local bank, the  list goes on. I had hoped security was improved. No body wants to put them down, but the majority of patients are there on sections. It is a forensic hospital, and the high security unit houses patients who often have committed awful crimes. They cannot be helped if there are not enough staff to give them the help they need. It has always been a problem, low staffing levels affects patients and staff. Bad management and poor security, nothing new here. I worked there and there were several escapees. I thought the new place which looks like alcatraz would be secure.

Outrageous, what an eyesore, and a danger. Wheelchairs and prams are having to go on the road, surely the council can enforce the owner to make the premises safe. and clear up the mess. Lucky no body was underneath when it went. It's not long since the back of the premises was leaking filthy water and rubbish everywhere and it had salmonella in it.
