SUNDAY 26th May was the first of four Charity Days at Dawlish Bowling Club of 2024. The day promised a high turnout with many of the usual teams hoping to enter on the day. 10am was the start time but proceedings got underway a little late due to the first of a few heavy showers.
TOWNS across Teignbridge are gearing up to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day. In Dawlish, a day long pack programme of events is planned, starting a 7.25am with a bagpiper playing on the Lawn followed by new town crier Bob Graham making the D-Day proclamation at 8am.
An American car show featuring more than 200 classic vehicles is returning to a Devon holiday park next month. The event at Cofton Holidays near Dawlish is now in its seventh year and is billed as the biggest American car show in the South West.
