The heartbroken family of an aspiring chef who tragically died after taking ecstasy have warned others about the dangers of experimenting with drugs. A FAMILY-RUN organic farm in Dawlish is branching out with its own Pumpkin Patch. Smallacombe Farm is opening the new area dedicated to growing pumpkins using organic seeds. For 20 years, the farm next to the Smugglers Inn, run by Alison Thomson, her son Ross and partner Ginny, have been certified organic, raising sheep and cattle.

AN APPEAL has been launched for new members to join a vital Dawlish charity. The Friends of Dawlish Hospital, who recently successfully campaigned for the reopening of the hospital’s Minor Injuries Unit, is looking for more help to continue to support the hospital.

SWIMMERS from Dawlish Swimming Club took part in a sponsored swim for Sports Relief on September 17 at their home pool at Trinity School in Teignmouth. A combined distance of over 65km (40 miles) was swam by those aged from eight to 16, which is the equivalent to crossing the channel from Dover to Calais twice!.

SIX new swan cygnets are already on the water in Dawlish. The brood began to hatch two days ago and the whole family are now out on the Brook. The six were born to mother swan Kimba and dad Bert.

@tosspot I wasnt banging in about benefits i merely raised the issue that surely a local councillor should be using her time about issues in dawlish rather than.police measues . Yes coryton cove is in dawlish but the issue was with people NOT a location which you cannot differintate between , the police cannot go and give a warning to a location andyou talk about being thick......!!!! . ...

I know that you’re a bit thick, but try harder please. You’re the one that was banging on about benefits that illegal immigrants are entitled to. Spoiler alert, they’re entitled to none. Oh, and you’re the one banging on about Rosie Dawson concentrating on Dawlish issues, yet saying that she should ignore Coryton Cove. Which. Is. In. Dawlish. Hope that helps.
