An elderly woman has suffered potentially life-changing injuries after a crash this afternoon (Wednesday, November 13). Devon and Cornwall police were called to reports of a collision involving a blue Peugeot and a mobility scooter on Exeter Road, Dawlish , at around 11.55am.

A person has sustained serious injuries at the scene of a crash involving a car and a mobility scooter. Exeter Road, in Dawlish , has been closed in both directions while emergency services are at the scene of the collision.

A road in Dawlish has been closed after a serious crash took place this afternoon. The A397 is currently shut in both directions at East Cliff Road, which is also reportedly closed. According to reports, the collision involved a car.
