A DAWLISH businesswoman is busy raising funds for a dog rescue charity. Chrissy Marks has been raising money Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus (SPDC) from her salon, Signature Hair and Beauty. Chrissy raised more than £200 off the back of selling dog-themed cakes, clocks, cards, puzzles and hand-made Christmas decorations.

COLLEAGUES from Dawlish Hospital have completed a 12 mile charity walk in aid of Teignmouth RNLI. The team of staff has so far raised more than £1,300 by walking from Teignmouth lifeboat station to Torquay in memory of a colleague’s husband who died earlier this year.
