It still has nothing to do with this thread Brooklyn.  The 19 year old was from Hereford. If you see such bad behaviour from school children, contact the school. I know for a fact, despite my 'naivety', that they take matters like this seriously as they regard the children represent the school when in their uniform. Proactivity is the best response.

DEEDOODLE, I assume you are asking for a reponse from me? As stated in the paper a 33 year old adult approached a group of teenagers, WHY? There is a reason and as stated one or both are known to be from the local area. Flo has her opinion but somewhat naive and short sighted, he/she is welcome to it. @flo - can you please explain what you define as a kid, because from my observations kids up to ages of 16 have been congregating on the lawn and the cove for many years now, sometimes still in school uniform. drinking and being verbally abusive. it doesn't mean all kids in dawlish are like this, just a minority. i respect your opinion, but please respect others on this forum as well.

Any chance of some examples of these illegal things that upstanding members of the community apparently get up to? Are we talking speeding? Dropping litter? Smoking things they shouldn't be smoking?
