TWO new benches have been installed in Dawlish thanks to a disabled resident. Carolyn Raby, who uses crutches to walk or a scooter, lives in Dawlish town centre. She noticed visitors and those on coach trips who had limited mobility struggled to find places to sit further along the Lawn.
OFFENSIVE graffiti has been painted along Dawlish sea wall. The nature of the graffiti along a section of the new wall, part of the major resilience programme to protect the railway line through the town, has been described as racist.
From Monday 14 October to Friday 25 October, Warren Road and Mount Pleasant Road, Dawlish Warren, from the junction with the A379 to close to the entrance with Blue Water Holiday Park, will be closed for patching and speed hump renewal works.
