COACH drivers bringing day trippers to Dawlish are struggling to park as work continues on South West Water’s multi-million scheme to improve water quality. Previously, coach drivers would drop visitors in the town centre before heading out of town to park their vehicles at Sandy Lane.
THE family of a Dawlish Warren hotelier who has passed away at the age of 85 have remembered him as ‘a true gentleman’. Known to family and friends as Geoff, the Langstone Cliff Hotel’s Geoffrey Rogers sadly passed away on May 5.

AN ELDERLY Dawlish woman is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a mobility scooter. The 89-year-old was attempting to manoeuvre her scooter past a van which was parked across the pavement.

STUDENTS, staff, parents and carers are celebrating after a Dawlish-based specialist education college received an Outstanding rating from inspectors. Ofsted has rated Oakwood Specialist College, which has its main campus in Dawlish, as Outstanding in all six areas.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Teignbridge’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows. The Lansdowne, a pub, bar or nightclub at Lansdowne Hotel Park Road Dawlish Devon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 24.
