A derelict landmark cafe on the coast path between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren has been reincarnated as a new refreshment stop in tribute to a beloved springer spaniel. Buddy’s at Red Rock opened on February 7 after months of work to renovate the dilapidated building.
TWO iconic events have been scrapped from this year’s Dawlish Celebrates Carnival due to South West Water’s extensive work in the town. VOLUNTEERS keeping Dawlish clean have received a welcome boost. Dawlish Against Plastic has been handed a £500 donation from a housebuilding firm to help keep Dawlish beaches clean. Formed in 2019, Dawlish Against Plastic established regular beach cleans across the town and to reduce plastic waste.
