A man has appeared in court and admitted killing a Cornish pensioner. Brian Downie, 69, held his hands up to causing the death of 81-year-old Lesley Davis. That is being used now due to roadworks in Kenton in the evening. Do many people use it? Maybe locals in the summer but is it that big of a problem? How will it be policed (suspect it won't)?

Hm.  I guess this will still allow cars to get to the Starcross sailing club ? What about Powderham Corner (to start the towpath walk towards the Turf) ?

In a trial starting in April for 12 months traffic will be stopped from using Estuary Road and Church Road through Powderham, alongside the River Exe.
