The Environment Agency has told people to get ready for flooding around coastal areas of the county Alerts have also been put in place for South Devon estuaries, the coast between Start Point and Dawlish Warren, and the coastline from Start Point to Plymouth. It seems from reading the article that it was/is officers (ie employees) of the council who were/are involved with this apparent intransigence. As I read the story the only connection this story has with councillors is that is so happens that the appellant is one.

Just proves what a useless bunch of councillors we have in Teignbridge .....unfortunately new blood not coming forward to challenge the status quo.

When I first moved to Dawlish, Devon General run the bus service and it was every 15 minutes each way. How times have changed!
