The festival launches on April 1 at St Gregory's Church, when walkers will be able to join one of two performances of 'The Dawlish Dawdle of April Fools'. MORE than 20 firefighters were called to Dawlish after a chimney fire spread to the roof of a three-storey thatched building. When the crew arrived they found that the three storey 20m by 20m property was a thatched property and requested a second engine and the aerial platform from Torquay to help fight the blaze.
