To David Fortet. Have you tried 'Rails along the Sea Wall' also by Peter Kay (I think).They used to sell this book at Paignton Station (Steam terminal). At the back of this soft back book it also mentions a more comprehensive hard back book that was to be published in the early nineties.I have not been able to locate a copy of this book however.

i am greatltly saddened to hear that they might not be having a youth club in dawlish . did anyone heat how the meeting went on the other night

I have completed a 4mm scale model of both station buildings and the signal box at Dawlish, but desperately seek any information or pictures of the Goods Shed during the period late 1950s / early 1960s.
