If you are an older person or couple on your own the united reformed church are putting on a christmas day dinner starting at 12-00. Lifts to and from the church will be available,it is by invitation only (for catering purposes). If you know someone who my like an invitation please contact the Revd Roger Whitehead on 889 098.
The Dawlish United Reformed church will be holding a 30 minute crib service at 4pm on christmas eve. It will be mainly for the under 6s and their parents (and grandparents). It would be nice if the children could be dressed as shepherds or angles.
Starting from the bandstand at 1.30pm sunday 9th december fun run, run over 1 mile and must be dressed as father, mother or baby christmas. There will be prizes for the best entries. Proceeds from the run go to the children's Hospice South West.

The mayor of Dawlish, Cllr Rosalind Prowse will turn on the lights at 5pm outside Bow Windows. Westcliff School will be singing and hot chestnuts, mince pies and mulled wine be available. The Stormforce junk band will be on the Lawn at 5.30pm
