Entertainment Idol 2008 is back and is on the look out for local talent. This year all the monies raised will be donated to the R D & E’s Paediatric Oncology Fund. Mamma Mia The Movie. At the Shaftesbury Theatre Dawlish. Saturday 29th November. Doors open 7.30 film starts 8pm. Box office open 10-00 till 12-00 on the morning of the film.

Tickets for this fun fashion show event are £3.00 each or £5.00 for a joint ticket. Ticket price includes a free drink, and there will also be a bar and snacks available on the night. The clothes on show will be a mixture of good high street brands at around 40% less than high street prices! An international orchard show this autumn to celebrate 50years will be held at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish Warren. There will be Orchard traders from all over England, Europe and Taiwan both selling plants and giving advice. The show will start on Saturday October 25th and continue on Sunday October 26th. Entry is £3 for adults, children free.
A sponsored 10k walk/run organised by the Pink Sparkle committee in aid of Cancer Research UK will be held at Powderham Castle on Sunday 12th October at 11am.
