Dawlish Lawn
The crowning of the carnival Queen and Royalty will take place on the Lawn, Dawlish on 29th May, followed by the British Legion's Party in the Park.
The 2010 Dawlish Carnival Pram Race will take place on Tuesday 17th August. Teams of 3 people are invited to join the fun and mayhem. Entrance fee is £10 per team of 3 members. It's fun and it's free - 'U Can Cut it' will be visiting The Lawn, Dawlish on Monday 9th August. The fun gets under way from 12:30pm until 4:30pm,
Dawlish Methodist Church will be holding a fete on the lawn Dawlish on Tuesday August 3rd 10am-4pm. Refreshments including lunches and cream teas will be available. There will also be a Bouncy Castle and lots of stalls.
This years scarcrow week is in aid of "THE HELEN FOUNDATION" As in previous year scarcrows will appear around the town on shops and pubs etc and you the residents and holiday makers will choose the winner by picking up your voting forms and being the judges. 31st of august is the last day and as last year we will be holding charity event on the lawn in Dawlish this will include tombola,, bouncy ...
Continental traders from France,Belgium,Italy,Spain,Holland and Poland will be wearing traditional costumes and selling high quality products. As well as edible goods, there will be a wide range of products including leather items, soaps, lavender and children's toys.
