The day covers a multitude of self-protection subjects, all under conditions of adrenaline. This ranges from awareness and control of one's self and the environment; the maintenance of boundaries using body language, voice, and spatial control; verbal diffusion and ending the argument; physical skills; and physical encounters with the Bulletmen.
The teaching and learning methodology is really the unique part of the process, rather than just the verbal and physical techniques. It is VERY different to standard martial arts instruction - whether traditional or reality-based - it's not just an instructor telling people what to do and then letting them get on with it. It is very enlightening and a real blast. Plus you get to have a real fight or two. And I mean REAL. You can hit as hard as you like and be as aggressive as you want. In fact, it's compulsory! No holding back at all.
