Born in Pontypridd to a working-class family, Tom's career has spanned 5 decades since his first hit 'It's Not Unusual' in 1965. He relocated to Las Vegas at the end of the 60s where he became a popular live act, but his music continued to evolve and his massive comeback in the UK started in the late 80s with a cover of 'Kiss' originally performed by Prince. During the 1990s he appeared at Glastonbury Festival, and more recently, his collaborations with the Stereophonics, Catatonia and Mousse T have helped to increase his popularity even further with a whole new generation of fans. Now in his sixties, Tom still has no plans to retire, and looks set to continue delighting audiences with his spectacular live shows.
