• Large Black Bin General Waste items
• Packaging
• Polystyrene
• Carpets
• Mattresses
• Non-Hazardous Small Domestic Appliances e.g. microwaves, electric lawn mowers, power tools, hairdryers, speakers etc
• Non-Hazardous Large Domestic Appliances e.g. washing machines, cookers, dishwashers, tumble dryers etc (White Goods EXCEPT Fridge/Freezers/TV/Computer Screens)

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT BARTON HILL

• Sofas/cushioned chairs/any PoPs seating (these will be accepted at a later service)
• Bulky recyclable wood/plastic/metal household items (however – these can be accepted at Coronation Avenue on 9th May)
• Garden waste

HAZARDOUS ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT ANY SERVICE

• TVs, computer screens, fridge & freezers
• Plasterboard, paint tins, tyres
• Asbestos, fluorescent tubes
• Chemical/fuels/solvents/hazardous items or pressurised containers/cylinders
• Batteries (vehicle & household)
• Food waste or liquids
