Formed in 2006 and celebrating 17 years in 2023, DixieMix Jazz Band, led by Simon Nelson, is one of the UK’s most dynamic jazz ensembles. Featuring top musicians from the southeast, the professional six-piece delivers fresh takes on jazz classics with humour and outstanding entertainment. Their talent and energy have earned national recognition, including a tour with Rod Stewart, TV appearances, and performances at festivals and theatres.
