To mark the postponed event this year, we’re hosting a virtual screening of The #StoryOfPlastic and would like you to join! It's a hard hitting film about the plastic pollution problem. To stream it for free, at a time to suit you, book your free tickets here - https://tinyurl.com/yavqzpd5
Important Update: Our planning group has been meeting regularly for over 9 months to bring the first ever festival of its kind to Dawlish. We have been in contact with many groups and individuals and started to confirm bookings.
However, the continued lockdown due to Coronavirus has obliged us to think long and hard about this event and we have decided to cancel the Go Green Fest for this year. We hope to be able to hold the event in July 2021 and will confirm this as soon as possible.
Part of our planning has involved the organisation of an illustrated writing competition for KS2 and KS3 students, with prizes up to the combined value of £100. This competition will still go ahead this year. More details can be found on our website www.dawlishagainstplastic.org.uk/go-green-fest/childrens-story-competition
Author Ellie Jackson, from wildtribeheroes.com will be judging entries.
We would like to thank everyone we have contacted for your interest and particularly Dawlish Town Council for their invaluable support.
Stay Safe.
