The first annual British Tourism Week (BTW) is a series of inter-related events taking place 12-18 March 2007 to raise national awareness of the size, value and importance of Britain's £74 billion visitor economy. Teignbridge District Council's Tourism and Marketing Section is planning to participate in the week by promoting the district's visitor attractions and events to local residents and visitors. High profile and British Tourism Week publicity will be displayed during the 12 - 18 March at Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Dawlish Tourist Information Centres promoting Teignbridge visitor attractions and events.
