Dick Barton is back as the Mitre Players stage Phil Willmott's musical spoof of the thrilling 1940s radio serial about the intrepid sleuth. He and trusty sidekicks Snowy and Jock race to save Blighty from a dastardly plot to poison its tea supply. But to succeed, they must foil the villainous plans of Baron Scarheart and his accomplice Marta Heartburn. With new words set to old songs, terrifying puns, buckets of innuendo and a plot loaded with nail-biting twists and cliff-hanging endings, the show us an affectionate comic romp.
