Is that the amazing air show that every town and it's dogs have?!

Flying huge dangerous planes over highly populated areas wasting vast amounts of precious fuel is not what i call entertaining.

About time our Labour Government cracked down on this on Health & Safety grounds, not forgetting the carbon foot-print.

Nigel,Viaduct,Dave..which name will he use next.

As for the Airshow that every town has comment.
Does Exeter, Torquay,Teignmouth,Newton Abott..the list could go on for ever.....NO NO NO they dont.Dawlish is one of the few, if it wasnt why would 10's of thousands of people flock to Dawlish.

By the way, im not from Dawlish but think the carnival is brilliant.

What are you going on about? My name is Nigel. Do you have trouble reading? There are airshows all over the south-west! But your list did impress me..... As for thousands of people...Dawlish has been fooling itself about those figures for years! If that was the case, then why is there little money in the carnival coffers?

Not from Dawlish heh?!

Nigel (not Dave or whoever......)

ps-give it a couple of years and you will be able to see lots of planes overhead.....Russian and Chinese planes.....plus Iranian missiles...
Enjoy you warmonger!

So we have Plymouth and ?, yes loads of them

warmonger, you make me laugh Nigel, Viaduct or whatever name your using today. You've got more names than airshows.

You forget the Muslims have already invaded and won due to you yellow,tree-huggers that are so blind to what is going on in the real world. The country has gone down the pan, and you know who's fault it is dont you .Yes Dawlish Council ha ha. Get a life you sad boring muppet

What is your fascination with my name? Who is viaduct?! Are you planning on writing me love letters? And what is your fascination with bits of metal flying over your head? Why don't you go plane spotting at Exeter airport?

There is so much beauty in and around the town and yet you're not happy unless the peace and quiet is destroyed with a jingoistic air show. If you're that keen, i suggest you get the next plane to Iraq.....especially as you seem to have a problem with Muslims. Remember, the population of this planet move around all the time.....what are you? Celt? Angle? Saxon? Norseman? Norman?

By the way....nothing wrong with tree hugging; we need trees to keep this planet alive.

You flippantly state that it's all the fault of Dawlish Town Council.....well you don't realise how near the truth you are! Big problems start with small inward looking people....then when things get out of hand, everyone starts shouting 'this country has gone down the pan'. Should have taken more notice of what your inept local stewards were up to.

What does it feel like to be outsmarted by a puppet?!

so you didnt add to the list then Nigel,Viaduct or what ever you choose to call yourself today.By the way , the word was muppett.I suppose your lack of reading ability is also due to dawlish council, yawn ,yawn ,yawn.I look forward to your insane ramblings (under another name),as you try to justify yourself by replying to your own postings.
Do us all a favour and leave this website to the people that actually appreciate where they live, instead of destroying every post that is made by attacking the population or council.

Oh and by the way , just in case you think i'm one of the conspiracy, driven councillors in your warped mind .IM NOT

Nearly forgot Roy (the name you are using today), I'm a Hindu driven out of my own country by Muslim fanatics. I suppose it wont be long before you suffer the same fate. Whether you are black/white, Hindu or Christian, Warmonger or Tree-hugging friend of them, your fate will be the same.YOU are their enemy.Try asking the many murdered and kidnapped voluntary workers in Muslim countries and you'll soon find out.

Unfortunately our twisted friend has hijacked another thread.

Back to the point, hopefully the carnival will be a great success. Its so good to see, so many of the local community coming together and enjoying themselves. This is something that should be treasured as so many Towns and cities no longer have these kinds of events.Once they've gone its very hard to bring them back.

It also provides a massive boost to the local economy, the holiday accomodation regularly being fully booked up.

Enjoy yourselves

You appear to be extremely paranoid and very stupid. No wonder other people ask lots of questions on this website.....when idiots defend idiots. I chose the word puppet, because that's what they are....hope i haven't ruined your day by exposing you to the truth that Muppets aren't real?

Being given lectures on reading, by someone who is grammatically inept as yourself, has to be the joke of the day!

Now then children, lets put our dummies back in and stop bickering.

I have been visiting Dawlish since I was a young child, then with my own young family and now in my late forties I come down at least 5 or 6 times a year with different members of my family.

I have been there a number of times during Carnival week and from what I can see, it is a massive success. The beaches, hills and streets are full of people on the day that the Red Arrows put on their display and from what I can see Dawlish can only benefit from Carnival week and the extra income it generates for the town.

It would be a shame not to have them, as I feel that Dawlish needs all the income and holiday makers it can get. I one day hope to move there from the Midlands, and I also feel that it must be the turn of Dawlish to get some funding to be able to do some vital work on some of the buildings that are now looking sad and old. Teignmouth is now a fantastic place, having had so much money ploughed into it and Dawlish could be the same.

If we have the Dawlish Gay Pride festival that I'm proposing, then I'm thinking that we could enlist the help of the Pink Arrows.

It would be less of a fly-by and more of a mince-by, but I'm sure it's worth looking into. What do you think?

I think you are being rather silly Joey, don't you!!

I really dont feel that Dawlish is the right place to host Gay Pride. Yes the shop in the town may be Gays Creamery, but some how I just can't see the locals welcoming this event....

Most of you on here should get a life its moan and then more bl**dy moan.
The air display does not really interest me but I certainly wouldn't deny those who watch it
their enjoyment
If you dont like what the carnival committe does get on it.
Little wonder Dawlish has become a miserable town it is full of killjoys.

It is easy to be racist in cyber land you should be ashamed of yourself.

Killing the joy of life is what others have done is it not?
Can you go to a pub and sit there with a pint of god's best and have a smoke any more?
Can you drive your car no matter what distance whithout having a seat-belt on?
Can you park without having to worry about whether you have parked legally or not?
Does it really matter if you have a busker on the street without a lincence?
And so on and so on!
But it does matter when others can do it but you can't. It does matter when others are spending your money and those others think it is ok.

Those that can and those that can't has happened from the year dot and it will never change. The only way you will change that is by finding yourself your own island.Your negative comments and those of your made up friends are becoming very tedious.

lol its pretty sad how you idiots argue over the most simplest of things,
If you didnt have the carnival im sure half your business over the summer months would dwindle to nothing.
It brings tourists in - tourists spend money and ooo unless you think the southwest can support itself financially then we would be up the creek without the business!!!!!

Thank you mouse :) for agreeing with me. In my opinion we should all just try and get the best out of a situation.
I doubt Dawlish is half as bad as most places are anyway. I mean anyone been to Westward HO!?
:P
You have the see, are near Teignmouth,Exeter, Plymouth. Lovely!!!!!! Your not stuck in the polluted air that is London. You are infact part of an ever decreasing minority that live by the beautiful coast. I live in Cornwall, but I would still love the opportunity to live by the sea...not stuck on the moor :D
