It would be good if the old contributors on this forum ie Mindful,Blondie,Alex,Solarpanel(sorry!zoom) and Stumpy all started to contribute regularly again in the New Year.
Its all a bit dead at the moment.

It would be good, but you may as well shout into a black hole. The site has always been hopeless for dialogue and we have all just given up bothering. Dawlish has that effect. I'm moving to Exter and can't wait.

High there old timers, Blondie's back for a bit of fun. I agree with you sugar, this site has gotten a little dull. I still check in from time to time hoping to see something interesting but, I think we have a lot of winter hermits out there.

Well the sun's out today and spring is on its way. Time to come out of the woodwork (or out from under the quilt) and find a way lo wake this sleepy little town up.

Now I'm not talking about dog poo, bad spelling, old fogies or the seagulls! been there done that! We need to set a challenge. Lets see if any one can come up with some thing like 'Mindfulls' contribution of the cracking Dawlish poem.
Time to get your thinking caps on and come up with an interesting posting that we can all get into.

eg.

Who snogged who at the Xmas/new year parties?
(It definitely wasn't Santa kissing Mrs Santa in the Landsdown!)

What was the naffiest Xmas pressy received?
( I get a posh bottle opener that wouldn't even open a paper bag!)

So come on people, come up with some new ideas to cheer our boring days at the office and make life worth living!!!(ha ha 1st time for everything)

Miss u all. Mwahh ( that's me blowing you a kiss by the way!!!! not!)

lol Blondie x

Stumpy callin'.
Stumpy callin'.
Yep, its me.I still tune in once or twice a week but sadly my input is lacking.
Life is so dull at the moment. I'm still waiting for that fone call or letter or something from some gorgeous rich bitch that wants to spend her inheritance on me!

However, I did receive a Blondie calendar at Christmas. My God, some of those pictures of you are fantastic.Oh, hang on a minute, there photos of Debbie Harry. That's not you is it? Looks like the pictures were taken some time ago aswell. Not bad though.
Got an old Smokie cd too.Takes me back a bit.
Bet you're already thinking that I'm an old tosser thats living in the past! You're probably right. My wife is always amazed that I can remember things from the fifties and sixties but can't remember what she said to me yesterday! That's called old age isn't it?

Good old days!!!!!!!!!
There are no good old days (hark i hear that devish word resounding around devlish, sorry dawlish, OLD. Now come on the town is old, the folk are old, even the seagulls are old. One more closure on the STRAND and we'll live in an Old ghost town. Why weep for the old days, oh come back gateways come back midlands, get lost tatty shops, come on lets shake ourselves up and make dawlish a proud devon seaside town. NO MORE MR NICE GUBA GEE, if you care about dawlish lets get going or dawlish to the dirt. Maybe thats what you all really want so you can take all the good thats left and discard the rest, shame on you devonians shame on you and you and you and you. All talk no flip flops and kiss me quick hats

Haven't you gone to Exeter yet? Whats the problem, property not shifting in Old Towm Street?

There was a nice house for sale in Marine Parade - GBP 250,000. It was in that agent at the beginning of the High Street. (Can someone go and check if its still available pls)

Is anyone writing letters about dustbins to the Gazette this week?
