It coincides with the Met Office predicting a heatwave in Devon over the next few days with temperatures set to reach as high as 26C. In Devon, RNLI patrols will end after this weekend in Sandy Bay, Dawlish Warren, Teignmouth Hope Cove, Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands, Thurlestone, and Bigbury-on-Sea North.
