SOUTH Devon police raided a property in Elm Grove Road, Dawlish, and seized what's believed to be £1,400 of heroin.

"It was another great result for us," said a police spokesman for the South Devon Proactive Unit, who led the raid.

"It's another £1,400 of drugs off of our streets. We will keep going into properties until people get the message drugs will not be tolerated."

A 32-year-old man from the town was arrested for possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and was being questioned by police. He has been bailed until August 5.
