I just thought I would say what a smart store it is, so much better than Somerfield.

My only regret is that the old Somerfield check out staff have been taken on. Now that really is a shame, they are not exactly a happy bunch and were the reason why many did not go to Somerfield.

Anyway ..thanks to the Coop for a far better range of products.
I do hope people will post positive remarks on the store too, but I know that's not normal.

Dont agree Saturday and shelves not stocked check outs slow and as for delivery drivers accessing premise in High Street they need driving lessons traffic held up 15minutes while a driver tried to reverse into car park he gave up in the end and had to manouvere and drive in
Bring back Somerfields

Typical reply and to be expected.

Nobody in Dawlish has a positive comment on ANYTHING do they.

No wonder Dawlish is a no go town for new business. It's a place just for the pub and you MUST like football and have the brains that to go with it.

Sush a shane. but who do you blame?
I can only think of education at Dawlish School, see that reply sentence without a breath!

From your reply i think maybe your are resident at Langdon, Dawlish is a nice town the pubs you frequent maybe loud and undesirable as you must be. I dont orginate from this area but moved here to appreciate the peace and tranquility and friendly residents, glad i havent met you. You are totally up yourself

I agree with you that a lot of people in Dawlish are not happy unless they are complaining. I mean give the shop a chance they have only just moved in. The drivers will get used to the roads around here just like the drivers in somerfields did. The shop was crap before and was in bad need of the update which has been well planned and they have made much better use out of a very small shop. Let's remember it's a convenience shop, Dawlish doesn't have a supermarket. If you want to go to one then go to one. I personally think they have a better range and they have some new people on the tills who are okay. Don't go to the grumpy ones and if you don't like the shop don't go to it. I'm sure you'll all find something else to complain about before long. Bet you, all the miserable gits complaining are the same ones that moaned before the takeover. sad old gits at least they are comfy in their negetive lives, just a shame we all have to hear their groans.
Little did they know if they tried to focus on the positive instead of the negetive all the time they would feel better about a lot of things.

Thank you!! Well I was happy with my shop there today, I used the £3 off voucher that came through the door!
The staff were fine too.

Well, its been 8 months since the new Coop opened, and i feel they really havent thought about its set up at all. Its coming up to christmas (busiest time of the year), all the back tills are closed,(which incidently only seemed to be opened for the 1st few weeks as to give a good impression), so any of us who like to do a big family shop , have to trail all our shopping down the thin isles, avoiding other shoppers, only to find when we get down there, not all the checkouts are open! Also, many of the offers on the shelf edges, dont seem to appear on our receipts, so we think we are getting an offer, and we then have to go to the kiosk to get it corrected! After queuing for 10 mins, having to pack our own bags, and getting the occasional grunt out of the staff, we then have to fight our way all the way back to the back of the store to get back up the stairs to the car park! Come on Coop, is it any wonder people cant wait to get a Tescos in Dawlish!!!

the co op is quite possibly the worst store I have ever had the misfortune to shop in.
