Not bad a book about fraud from a man who is a convicted benefit cheat, still with all the other reading that is out there it does show how corrupt the EU is.

Another resignation after being admitting fraud as an MEP.

However, I knew someone who did very well out of UN building contracts and said such contracts went to the person who offered the biggest bribe. He was also able to get his money paid out in almost any country in any currency.

Nothing will ever change, possibly people turn whistleblower because they don't get their 'share', or am I just being a cynic.!!!

You don't have to look as far as Brussels to see fraud and ineptitude wasting hideous amounts of money. I worked European Grants for (as was) MAFF and some of the things being claimed were unbelievable. One farmer claimed for several hundred acres which were located some 20 odd miles out in the North Sea!! The waste of grant money I saw was incredible.

I also worked for the Revenue. They will go after the small businesses and individuals but anything with its own legal dept was untouchable it seemed to me. This was some years ago before the Customs & Excise joined them so perhaps it's changed. They still seem to spend an inordinate amount of time pursuing small amounts whilst the big companies get away with it though!

....and don't get me started on TDC or DCC! More to follow on that one!
