Beware we have a hacker on this forum who gets your passwords and knows who you are, I thought like J. Warrener about the webmaster but am now thinking differently. Au Revoir

Firstly, I would be interested to know how you reached this conclusion, and secondly I think it is 'unreasonable', to put it mildly, to cast aspersions on the integrity of the Webmaster, and even if someone logged in to my account they would still have no idea who I was or my 'real' email address as I would never use this information to register on a forum. There is no such thing as privacy, the internet being the least private place in the world so I always assume that any info I leave on any internet site is in the public domain and is therefore not private. It is not difficult to access the database of most forum sites.........now people will think I am the HACKER. No, I have better things to do with my time.

I don't know about pass words B'nut but sometimes it is quite easy to figure out who people are who post here even when they change their posting names......

I think some people make it pretty obvious who they are especially if you read other forums relating to Dawlish. I certainly wouldn't try to "out" people as this is an anonymous discussion group and to be honest with some of the nastiness I'm quite pleased people don't know who I am.

For all that people moan about the Eye of Dawlish, unless you have a made up profile, people know who you are and I'm sure it regulates some of the comments.

B'nut - (if you are still with us) any chance you could let us know what is was that made you make your posting that started off this thread?

I know you've told us that you think there is a hacker but what is it/was it that made you think that?

Brazilnut, I do not think this forum has been hacked. If you are concerned about privacy then please email me and we can discuss it in private if you want to.

Thanks again Webmaster, people making allegations then refusing to produce any evidence as to why they are making them is just plain annoying and pointless and I wonder what agenda this poster has in doing this.

I have come back to explain my actions, certain things have been going on in relation to this forum but after discussion with the webmaster realise I was wrong to make this assumption. Without going into detail rest assured I had good reason to assume Id been hacked.
