Supermarket Plan Meeting

A planning application for a new supermarket, petrol filling station and access roads has been lodged with Teignbridge District Council by supermarket firm Sainsbury.

The development is proposed for land on the eastern side of Dawlish at Shutterton Bridge.Dawlish Town Council will be holding a special planning meeting at The Manor House, Old Town Street, Dawlish, on Thursday, May 1, starting at 7pm to debate the supermarket's proposal.

The meeting will be open to the public and residents are welcome to attend to listen to the debate and recommendations of the town council.

Plans for the development will be on display at the meeting and copies can be seen in advance at Teignbridge District Council's offices in Newton Abbot or at The Manor House in Dawlish.
