Just clicked on www.lockwoodhouse.co.uk and my browser says that it is infected with malware? The other two were ok but it might be wise to check the lockwoodhouse site. Better to be safe than sorry.

With the risk of stating the obvious . . . Unfortunately there are businesses in lots of towns up for sale. There is less money to go round therefore people are managing by buying less, and then there is the rise of internet shopping which is usually cheaper than the shops as the retailer doesn't have to rent/buy premises in many towns, just operate from a central warehouse. I went along Secmanton Lane this afternoon and the bollards were back in place. I imagine that the current bollards are left as removable ones to enable the council to access the lane to do hedge cutting etc., otherwise they could install the concrete bollards which are much harder to remove.

As a relative newcomber to the area, ( I've only been in Dawlish for 13 years), would someone be kind enough to name the rock in this picture, the one to the right of Holcombe Head. Thanks in advance.
