Doesn't all this show just how much we need to be as self sufficient as we possibly can be? An increase in UK based food production (ie farming) and energy production come immediately to mind. All those necessary things that we import from abroad could be cut off. What then?

I can't see anywhere (@ the date I write this) when it is that the developers at Gatehouse Farm wish to commence work on the road infrastructure (see thread https://dawlish.com/thread/details/47841 ).
