ARSONISTS have been blamed for a fire which swept through two acres of heathland near Teignmouth. Firefighters spent an hour and a half in strong winds battling the fire which is believed to have been ignited by fireworks. One fire appliance from Teignmouth and the 4x4 vehicle from Dawlish were called to Little Haldon after a passing motorist saw plumes of smoke and flames leaping into the air.
