Initially i would wear a p3 respirator and goggles when going to the supermarket eaxh fortnight, but the amount of stress that induced in me days before i actually shopped was terrifying. looking at the info on the internet and the fact that the stats foir this virus have been poorly managed to include any and all deaths the last few months. i decided not to wear my ppe and emtionally felt a ...

Interesting to know how many calls were physically attended by officers in an effective time scale. Not a lot I would have thought. There's more senior coppers lording it up at their H.Q;s than officers on patrol I would imagine.

Up road from me a house has started work on landscaping their back garden. Loads of dust and noise all day and approx 40 tons of hardcore and about 40 railway sleepers. I feel sorry from the people who have a house below them if this lot gives way this winter. No planning permission on Teignbridge planning site for the work....which I would list as fairly major and with ...

I have been to the surgery twice over the last week or so and am aware they require you to wear a face covering when you go in the surgery. The first visit last week I arrived on time and waited in the Q in the reception area, as directed, to be advised where to sit for my appt. I observed a builder working on the lift with no mask and one of the admin wandering around with no mask. ...

The roads were bumper to bumper through teignmouth to morrisons. In my book that is good for our bit of the world. Total uk pop who has/is sufferring from covid is supposedly....wait for it....quarter of one percent of the population! I know that stat is only valid for people who have  açtually been tested, it is more likely millions of us have had it and just thought it was flu. ...

looks more like an ISIL bride. Although i agree that there will be more deaths down here because of the influx from all over the u.k. Life has to get back to some normality and if there is no increase then good, but if there is the implications will be felt by us living here and the businesses not the locations the tourists came from. Between a rock and a hard place in my opinion.

Good work PD Arnie and handler. Nothing suprises me about Dawlish these days. A small percentage of the Dawlish community, many most probably known to the local police, make it miserable for the rest of us. About the same every where in this once proud and World leading country of hours. Now relegated to a door mat for the rest of the World's dross who wish to pick up a few quid and do ...

A few more pics...

What a mess.

have put pics of the lethal rebar sticking out of the dawlish beach. you only see it when the beach has been severely eroded, but then they are covered with sea water and look like idylic sea pools. Someone or someones dog is going to end up impaled and/or get a severe foot injury from all the sharp bits of metal lodged in the buried concrete on the beach. Doubt anything will be done ...
