PROPOSALS by South West Water to improve storm overflows and sewage pollution in Dawlish are expected to cause major disruption to the town for up to nine months. The plans, which involve extensive work to install large tanks, have been met with dismay by businesses and residents.

A NEW secure compound has been launched specially for dogs to enjoy. The Hound Compound is a fenced off area at Dawlish Countryside Park designed to provide a safe area for training dogs and puppies.

THE new Dawlish link road should soon be open, according to Teignbridge Council. The authority says the link road and new bridge over Shutterton Brook is ‘approaching the final stages of construction’.
