DAWLISH has suffered for the second time in three days as Storm Chandra brought a torrent of water through the town. The colossal amount of rain has led to roads being waterlogged and warnings to stay away from the Brook until water levels drops. A section of the railtrack wall at Dawlish has been damaged as Storm Ingrid unleashed heavy seas on the exposed railway line. The collapse of part of the railtrack wall at Sea Lawn Terrace has left debris on the railway and allowed sea water to ingress onto the line. A CONTROLLED zone imposed following the outbreak of Avian flu in Dawlish has been lifted, it has been confirmed.
