Sorry to say this but having visited the new Morrisons in Teignmouth last night, there is no way any shop or store in Dawlish can or will compete with the shopping experience on offer there. It even shows Sainsbury's up for the dump it really is and of course their fuel is 3p cheaper as promised. Could only happen in Teignbridge, Council fits none IP65 lighting over a river. Cheap skates.

Not 100% sure but dosent a plan for this already exist somewhere in the system, seem to remember reading about it some years ago. I dont see how the existing line could stay open without Network Rail infrastructure, as the main reason for moving the line inland is to remove the unsustainable cost of keeping it open. The costs of running it as a private concern wouldnt even be feasable for instance ...

Like the way they push the train commuting aspect. In other words Dawlish has no jobs, the buses are useless and the car journey to Exeter is a pain at rush hour. Also the mature landscape has now been destroyed to make room for more houses that local people cant afford and nobody else wants anyway.
