update - went out looking for pumpkins and could only find butternut squash on offer, so its in baking ready for some soup for dinner. Anyone have any other varieties growing? Particularly, spaghetti squash?

@Philip - lol, good point. i keep forgetting about the ki ora OJ over here ! For others not in the know ...... Kia Ora, is an NZ Maori term. It is used in a similar way as in the UK we use the word cheers. Pumpkin ...... which after all my time in the US & NZ is a firm favourite with me too. Pity I couldnt try it :-( I find it strange pumpkin is not much used over here. Hmmm ..... I feel an article coming on (=[;-D

Well I met lots of nice people, made valuable contacts and my good lady had some DELICIOUS soup!! My apologies Lynne for not eating myself, nothing personal but after a migraine attack I just cannot bare to eat.
