http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36712550 I only post this because right at the end is this The head of the liberal group in the parliament, former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, lambasted the European Council, the forum where EU governments decide policy. He said the Council's reaction to Brexit was "we shouldn't change anything, just implement existing ...

Only sensible if I agree with the contribution Lynne :-)

Sorry to hear that Margaret, hope he is ok now. I agree it needs addressing but we have a government where this will never be their priority. Cutting corporation tax further will only mean less income to spend so further cuts to essential services.

@Brooklyn Bridge in an ideal world the paramedics would get there instantly and all calls would have the same priority of "emergency" but that isn't how it is in reality. a head injury where the person is conscious and talking (I don't know the details obviously or if this was the case) and a heart attack are different priorities.

I am sure if it was an heart attack it would have been prioritised differently. There is a lot of information to gather to decide the priority and where to attend.

Get your bets in quick for Farage's next adventure http://www.paddypower.com/bet/politics/other-politics/uk-politics?ev_oc_grp_ids=2605854 - it is interesting that they think it is 10 times more likely for Farage to be the next England manager than it was for Leicester to win the Premier League :-)

I don't trust him, he has a plan. There is no way he will go away quietly, he likes the spotlight too much. Haven't we been here twice before where we thought he had gone? The party was created to get us out of Europe so in theory the party's job is done. That is Johnson, Farage and Cameron out when the going gets tough ... if only Gove would **** off too.

Corbyn's version of the Labour party is the Labour party.  I agree the party needs to more centred, maybe, but getting rid of Corbyn is not the answer. Whilst the Tories are in turmoil they should be united and taking advantage. There is time to reassess the leadership later if need be.
