So the entire Bovis/Cavanna estate remains a cul de sac for years to come.  Leaving access at the discretion of a few inconsiderate parkers in the event of emergency vehicle attendance.  Also continuing annoyance to the residents of Elm Grove Road, the only really practical route (Rue?) to civilisation. Thank goodness we now have one piece of infrastructure in the form of a shop (albeit ...

Seem to be a lot of devices (air con maybe) on the roof.  Will they test it in high sea conditions?

As a lifelong socialist (with a small s) I am horrified that Corbyn was imposed upon us.  A pacifist is an idealist, not a strong leader or prime-ministerial candidate , although maybe(?) an honorable person.  My vote has already been cast by post into the Wigan area, where Labour's votes are traditionally plentiful anyway.  If Labour were to rise back as a viable opposition, then we could hope ...

For clarity, conserve means KEEP.  And sod those in need....

Their supporters might rancle at the description 'nasty party'.  They'd have a job though to deny that it is the 'selfish party' - that is surely its pupose  .  Now which party might I be refering to?

Gary's loss, if permanent, is a shame.  Whatever your political affections, you can choose to listen to or ignore his postings.  Where now are we to hear knowledgeable insights over planning matters, etc? The only prospect of avoiding an overwhelming Selfsh Party landslide is to look at any left-of-centre offerings.  It is only a pity the Liberal Dems blew it by siding with Dave for a little ...

Ten out of ten in the geography test.   We in Britain are of course in Europe.  And an awful lot of us want to stay here despite the many negatives. This is getting tedious.  Over and out - in every sense!

Burneside: I read only the Daily Mail and the Telegraph, every day, cover to cover (bar the sport).  I've had a good enough education to look past the propoganda they both peddle, and balance it with my own life experience, and broadcaster's information from as wide a variety of sources as I can access (even Murdoch's Sky News!).  I've traveled much of our world (1st and 3rd) to broaden my ...

The two sides in this disagreement are begining to sound as 'flexible' as the folk of Northern Ireland.  Democracy nearly arrived there, eventually, and seems to be ebbing again like the tide.  But along the way we all suffered a huge amount of ear-bashing and bloodletting from the bigots of both sides .  {If we eventually declare full  'independence' from our near neighbours, Ulster will have a ...

Vodafone Network

I have continual problems getting a signal from the EE network.  I seem to be in the shadow of the hill on the Bovis estate where I live (just sometimes I can receive a very weak signal from upstairs, but not at all reliably).   How do others fare with the different networks locally?  I'm reluctant, though, to ditch EE as it is a powerful signal at other locations where I need it.
