Dawlish News

Positive news!! Stop the presses! This is the reality for nearly all users of the surgery, I'm pleased to say. The moaning minnies who have one of the rare poor experiences are entitled to their opinion, but they are far outnumbered by the silent and happy majority.

Interesting that "Dawlish News", whoever you are, chose not to post the whole article. Only the slightly negative part of it... I'm still waiting for FredCliffe to share the outcome of his FOI request that he promised us.

Will, rest assured that the sea wall isn't "ruined" by the very occasional (and always non-Lycra-clad) cyclist. Those that do use it have always, in my experience, slowed right down when approaching pedestrians.  And to confirm, in case the water has been muddied, the cycle route will NOT be along the seawall. Which was all you were asking in the first place. So please don't be put off by ...

Oh hi Margaret. Thanks for taking time out from your busy schedule to write about me. Not that you're obsessed much... Was my commentary about the Teign Estuary Trail linking with the River Exe Trail not factual or intelligent enough for you? Oh well, clearly we're all truly honoured to be blessed by your presence amongst us mere plebs. Bow, bow, scrape, scrape. I like the thought of ...

The etiquette at this stage is usually to post something along the lines of "yyyyyaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnnn". Happy to help. And no need to thank me for presenting the facts, it's my pleasure.

The Exe Estuary Trail goes from Exeter Quay to Dawlish. The ambition is to link the Teign Estuary Trail to the existing EET, so that there's a safe route for cyclists and pedestrians between Exeter and Kingsteignton. Cyclist bashing on on forums like this is just a cheap way of getting "Agrees" or "Likes". Normally written by people who could really do with doing some exercise.

Thanks Scapegoat. I had a feeling that Paul wouldn't know the answer...

Who was playing at the South Devon Inn?

You need to get to bed earlier Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect.  As usual, you're quick to moan, but never able to answer a perfectly reasonable question.
