Well......I for one would definitely be tempted. A (discounted) swim followed by a (discounted) carvery. Sounds good to me! PS How many times around the pool = one roast spud?

What will the situation be for those Scots presently serving in the armed forces? Will they have a choice of leaving and joining the Scottish equivalent (assuming there will be a Scottish equivalent). Or are the Scottish Nats. assuming that although they will have an independent country it won't be independent when it comes to defence?

Went to Powderham today. Voucher that I referred to above can be used along with the concessionary  entrance fee for seniors. However, if you do that you cannot subsequently validate your ticket to take advantage of being able to visit again, for free, within the next 7 days. Senior from the point of view of Powderham is aged 60+. I asked for two senior tickets. The young man behind the counter ...
