VITAL public consultations on the future look and feel of Teignbridge got under way this week with tens of thousands of people being asked to air their views in the first stage review of the district’s Local Plan.
In my opinion, summed up:-
Continuing crumbling coast line
Little change to the decrepid railway lines and rolling stock...other than the low spec Hitachi trains to be implemented.
Massive increase in new homes being built
Little increase in employment
Roads will continue to fall apart and have poor or zero up keep
Continued reduction in police on our streets
Even less basic services will be available
Continued increase in rates
Increase in crime
Civil servants pay and penions increase above inflation
No need when half of Syria is coming over here, considering we have the hot weather anyway.
Perhaps we ought to put an immigration plan into effect for Teignbridge. Anyone who has not lived here all their life is deported and access banned to all Teignbridge discussion boards. Should stop the moaning on this site ... (lights touch paper and retreats to safety). Debon Dan for prime minster.
Pubs open 24/7 and free beer paid for by the tax payer. Open up cannibis smoking shops where you can smoke to your hearts content without fear of being arrested. Make compulsory skipping lessons for kids who are over-weight. Ban mobile phones in public places. Allow the keep fit cyclists to ride four abreast. No more the two charity shops in anyone street. Licence all dog owners in Teignbridge.
And finish off the day with free strawberries and cream on the lawn.
@flo -in my opinion i would be quite happy with just deporting one person who frequents this site and in my opinion the site would slowly coming back from its current death throws. did i say 'in my opinion' cannot remember if i did. evening all !!!!!!!!!!!
