Saw this on Sunday, whilst walking along the sea wall. Find the person who did this and put them in stocks on the den for for a week so the locals can people to throw mouldy fruit at after they have scrubbed the graffiti off.

If you find it so offensive I'm a bit confused as to why you have displayed it even more by posting a picture of it on here.

It's only a univerally used word and it is the only word many throughout the world understand.

@Lynne - i cannot help the fact you are confused. where did i say i found the word offensive? i merely made anyone who wished to view the post, who may be of a delicate imposition, fore warning that a word in the images may not be to their liking.

I certainly find this public display of vulgarity unacceptable in a public place.

Lynne don't make this thread something it is not.

As to you post  'what word do you mean? Taborro? if it is directed to me I haven't a clue - I didn't create this graffiti!

As to posting it on here - it allows others, who wish to view it, to see what is going on in the local area.

@majorp - maybe so, but still unacceptable and also an act of criminal damage that the rate/tax payer has to pick up the bill for to clean it off.

@DEEDOODLE- Yes you are correct you didn't use the word offensive you used the word abusive. But I still find it contradictory  that if you find it so abusive that you then publish a picture of it. And I am sure such word and others of its kind are to be found all over the country not just around here.

What is it that you think I am trying to make this thread into? I was merely making an observation.

My post "what word do you mean? Taborro?" was addressed to Majorp.

Anyone know if it has been reported to council and if it has yet been removed? That's all that really matters, no?

I was down there this afternoon, and it is still there but someone (presumably a public spirited individual) has overpainted the 'F' words with blue paint.

Well I guess thats a help, but then I guess eithe rno one knows that it is there from the authorities or they can't be bothered to do something about it, now if it was tourist season that would have been removed by dawn.
