Daw Vale, former care home - sold stc.
I know there was a bit of a noise last time the home went up for sale. It would seem it is now stc.
Anyone know who may be buying it?
I don't know who is buying it but I understand that Devon County Council were in talks with Teignbridge District Council with a view for it being used for residential purposes.
Guess we will just have to wait for the planning application to be submitted.
Maybe they could put affordable houses there, so the children will not have to go far to get to school! Or a new school building and have a split site? Handy since DCC have ignored the call for another school near Sainsburys. This means the remaining schools, all on bad roads will have more children and traffic put upon them, causing safety issues. Will be interesting what they do use it for and fingers cross it will bring positive change for the community, since all we have had recently is bad decisions, which will make peoples lives worse and not better.
