Am involved in a house clearance and have some videos of films that I would like to find a home for.

Charity shops don't take videos anymore so am at a a loss as to where they could go.

Thoughts? (and please don't say the tip as that would grieve me no end)

Are they historic?  The museum might be interested?

You could keep hold of them they may come back into fashion like records everyone threw them, they are now in fashion and folk are buying record players again

Yes FB I think you are right. I've tried phoning around a few places and also asking in some of the charity shops here and in T'mouth but no-one wants them.

Thanks for the offer of a machine to play them on but we've got one, kept so that daughter can play the videos of herself made when she was much younger.

We are in the process of converting those videos of her childhood to dvds.

I've still got a cassette player as well.....
